Job Title
This is a full time, 12 month position. This position is eligible for benefits.
Job DescriptionProvides a wide variety of support and maintains communication with the Special Education and Human Resources departments. Acts as the initial contact for administrators, teachers, staff, and community members, screening and responding professionally and confidentially to routine and non-routine inquiries. Maintains records for student and staff enrollment in Special Education and ensures student files contain the proper documents under special education laws.
Assist and manage daily administrative tasks for the Human Resources Department. Uses judgment and initiative to determine the best approach or course of action for daily routine and non-routine situations.
Previous Administrative Assistant experience preferred. Requires excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and proven computer usage skills. Effective communication skills. Team player with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with parents, staff and community members. Ability to take direction, with initiative and dependability in carrying out assignments. Clerical skills, flexibility and confidentiality is required.
