Project Specialist
Coordinate and administer project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance records. Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and performance analysis. Serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams. Manage invoicing, purchase orders, permits, and other project-related administrative processes. Ensure successful project execution and closeout through document control, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and turnover support.

- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and performance analysis.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Manage invoicing, purchase orders, permits, and other project-related administrative processes.
- Ensure successful project execution and closeout through document control, stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and turnover support.
- 2+ years as a project coordinator, project specialist, or project administrator.
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects in an administrative or project coordination role.
- Strong knowledge of project documentation, contract administration, document control, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
The position offers a stable and long-term opportunity in utility work, backed by significant multi-year capital investments and a strong regional project backlog. Expect a Monday-Friday schedule, working 40 hours per week. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with project managers, assistant project managers, and project coordinators. The company is a nationally recognized contractor with over 60 years of utility construction experience and a strong reputation for safety, quality, and execution.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
