About The Job Are you a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding position in a dynamic healthcare environment? Lima Road Dentistry in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is looking for a dedicated Front Desk Administrator to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and deliver an exceptional first impression.
- Schedule appointments and optimize the daily patient calendar for maximum efficiency.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct messages appropriately.
- Maintain and update digital patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Process patient copays, account balances, and daily billing transactions accurately.
- Assist patients with insurance verification, benefits breakdown, and claims processing.
- Keep the reception area clean, presentable, and well-stocked with administrative supplies.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and office operations.
- Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance verification processes. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in computer systems and dental practice management software. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. - Organization:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinical setting. - Professionalism:
High attention to detail and a strict commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
