About The Job Are you a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding position in a dynamic healthcare environment? Lima Road Dentistry in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is looking for a dedicated Front Desk Administrator to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and deliver an exceptional first impression.
  • Schedule appointments and optimize the daily patient calendar for maximum efficiency.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and direct messages appropriately.
  • Maintain and update digital patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Process patient copays, account balances, and daily billing transactions accurately.
  • Assist patients with insurance verification, benefits breakdown, and claims processing.
  • Keep the reception area clean, presentable, and well-stocked with administrative supplies.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and office operations.
Requirements
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
  • Knowledge:
    Familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance verification processes.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in computer systems and dental practice management software.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization:
    Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Professionalism:
    High attention to detail and a strict commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
