Used Car Service Technician

Hiring Automotive Technicians $50,000 - $65,000 a year

Bob Thomas Ford West is immediately looking for a used car technician. The role requires competency in oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, basic auto maintenance, diagnose‑drive‑ability concerns, electrical work, ABS systems, and some suspension work.

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and according to dealership and/or Ford standards.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specification.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non‑technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
