Overview
Turnstone Center—in partnership with World Para Volley (WPV), Visit Fort Wayne, and the City of Fort Wayne—will host the 2025 WPV Sitting Volleyball World Cup from October 12–18, 2025. This international event will bring nearly 500 athletes, officials, and delegates from 17 countries to northeast Indiana. It will mark the first time the Sitting Volleyball World Cup is hosted in the United States.
The 2025 WPV Sitting Volleyball World Cup features both men’s and women’s divisions, with up to 24 national teams (16 men’s and 8 women’s) competing at Turnstone’s Plassman Athletic Center. Volunteers are needed in several roles, including Ambassadors, Team and Volunteer Check-in, Dining Attendants, Ticket Sales, Court Monitors, and more.

Dates: October 12–18, 2025
Responsibilities- Serve as Ambassadors and assist with information, directions, and hospitality for attendees.
- Assist with Team and Volunteer Check-in processes.
- Support Dining Attendants with meal service and logistics.
- Assist with Ticket Sales at designated venues or booths.
- Monitor courts to ensure smooth operations and safety during events.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support event operations and guest experience.
