Role Description The role also supports process improvement initiatives, business intelligence reporting, ERP system optimization, and cross-functional project execution. Success in this position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to bridge business needs and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Business Intelligence (BI) lead by developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights into business performance and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the M1 ERP system, leading user training, troubleshooting, system enhancements, software updates, and implementation of new modules and features.
  • Design and generate custom reports to meet evolving business requirements across departments.
  • Gather, document, analyze, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
  • Map current-state business processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and develop optimized future-state workflows.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements that enhance operational performance and profitability.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure implemented solutions meet business requirements and original functional specifications.
  • Support change management activities by facilitating communication, managing project scope, coordinating user training, and promoting successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, project stakeholders, and software vendors to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business process improvements and measure project outcomes against established objectives.
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and dashboards that monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate business performance to leadership.
  • Assist with project planning, prioritization, risk identification, and ongoing process optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze legacy systems and workflows to identify opportunities for modernization and improved operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure proposed business solutions align with organizational strategy, operational goals, and customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and solution evaluation.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for working with stakeholders at all levels and presenting findings.
  • Knowledge of business processes, process mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to define, manage, and prioritize business requirements in a manufacturing or operations-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, reporting tools, ERP systems); experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work on-site in Greater Fort Wayne in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
