In the US, this opportunity is designed primarily for recent undergraduate talent, though candidates with relevant master's or doctoral degrees may also be considered. About the Innovation Analyst RoleAs an Innovation Analyst, you'll help shape the future of underwriting, claims, pricing, and research & development by exploring how innovation, technology, data, and new ways of working can create value for clients and the business. You'll collaborate with teams across Swiss Re to turn ideas into practical solutions, support strategic initiatives, and gain exposure to areas including underwriting, claims, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, health and wellness, and client engagement.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Support innovation and transformation projects from early ideas through implementation.
- Explore how digital tools, data, automation, and AI can improve processes, decisions, and client experiences.
- Collaborate with business, technology, analytics, operations, and client-facing teams.
- Create presentations, communications, project updates, and other materials that help bring new solutions to life.
- Develop your professional network and industry knowledge through exposure to clients, conference participation, webinars, and collaboration with colleagues across Swiss Re and the broader market.
The Life and Heath Mortality Innovation & Transformation team is helping shape the future of mortality services at Swiss Re. We work across the organization to modernize underwriting and claims, explore emerging health and wellness opportunities, make better use of data and AI, improve client experiences, and turn new ideas into meaningful business outcomes.

About YouWe're looking for people who:
- Have completed, or are about to complete, a bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Healthcare, Finance, or a related field; relevant master's or doctoral degrees may also be considered.
- Have demonstrated academic rigor through course selection and performance; a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected.
- Have no more than three years of professional experience.
- Are intellectually curious and motivated to learn, connect ideas, and solve business challenges in innovative ways.
- Think analytically, solve complex problems, and enjoy working with data to identify opportunities and develop recommendations.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships and adapt your style to work effectively with diverse teams and perspectives.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, activities, and deadlines.

- Have an interest in innovation, digital transformation, AI, data, automation, or emerging technologies and their application to business challenges.
- Have an interest in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, healthcare, health and wellness, or related industries.
- Have exposure to design thinking, agile methodologies, process improvement, project management, or similar problem-solving approaches.
The base salary for this role is $70,000. Candidates with advanced degrees may be eligible for a higher base compensation. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect the base salary only and do not include short-term incentives or other benefits offered.
