Leader - Park and Play; Seasonal

Overview

Leader – Park & Play May – August | Monday – Friday, Including Evenings | Avg. 30 Hrs/Week | Start 8:30 A.M.

Love leading kids, organizing games, running arts & crafts, and creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences? We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic leaders who inspire participation and teamwork.

Lead daily activities, supervise participants, support staff, and help run fun, safe programs across sports, arts & crafts, field trips, and special events. Engage kids, communicate with parents, and keep operations running smoothly.

• Plan, lead, and assist staff in executing daily recreational activities and programs
• Maintain attendance, registration, and other program records
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly used and maintained
• Promote community engagement and work with volunteers at your site
• Support staff development and report incidents or issues to supervisors

Supervise all children participating in Park & Play activities

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in education or related field preferred
• Minimum 18 years old
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; positive attitude and passion for working with children
• Reliable transportation

• First Aid & CPR (provided by City within first two weeks if not already certified)

• Basic computer skills for attendance, reporting, and program tracking

• Lead youth programs that make a real impact in your community
• Gain hands-on experience in leadership, program planning, and youth development
• Work with a supportive, energetic team focused on fun, safe, and inclusive programming

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of applicable drug screening, physical examination, and background checks.
