Position: Safety Manager
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Pay: $50/hour + $110/day per diem
Schedule: 58-hour work week
Project Type: Large-scale commercial construction
Position SummaryOur client is urgently seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead jobsite safety operations on an active construction project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role is boots-on-the-ground, highly visible, and critical to keeping crews safe, compliant, and moving forward without interruption.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety programs
- Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately
- Lead incident investigations and reporting
- Partner closely with project leadership and trade partners
- Maintain all safety documentation and compliance records
- OSHA 510 Certification
- CHST Certification
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager on commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong communication skills and authority on active jobsites
