Construction Project Coordinator – Utility Infrastructure
Support utility construction projects by coordinating documentation, schedules, and field communication to help deliver transmission, substation, and grid modernization work safely and on time. This is a stable, office-based role with minimal travel and clear growth into project management.
Responsibilities- Track project status and flag risks, issues, or scope changes.
- Communicate updates and concerns to the Project Manager.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and drawings.
- Support construction planning and daily execution.
- Update schedules, milestones, and productivity tracking.
- Coordinate with field crews and subcontractors to support safety and quality.
- Assist with site organization and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and internal teams.
- Construction or field-related experience.
- Ability to read construction drawings.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively with field and office teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Interest in utility construction and project management.
- Willingness to learn transmission, substation, and related work.

Primarily office-based in Fort Wayne, IN, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional site visits. Work in a collaborative team environment focused on long-term utility construction programs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
