Construction Foreman
An opportunity has arisen for a Construction Foreman at a thriving design-build construction company in Fort Wayne, IN. This role involves hands-on leadership overseeing various commercial and industrial projects on-site, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, budget control, and client satisfaction.
Ideal for a foreman who is proactive, communicates effectively, and can effectively manage project workflow.
Duties:- Supervise daily operations on the jobsite, including field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, logistics, layout, and site access
- Ensure a safe, organized, clean, and efficient work environment for all trades
- Coordinate short-term schedules, subcontractor availability, material delivery, and field priorities
- Identify site issues early on and collaborate with project management to address delays, conflicts, changes in scope, and cost impacts
- Conduct quality assessments, walkthroughs, safety checks, toolbox meetings, and incident reporting
- Present a professional image during client interactions, site visits, and project updates
- Lead with responsibility, good judgment, clear communication, and a team-oriented approach
- Minimum of ten years in commercial or industrial construction
- Prior experience as a lead foreman on projects with a value of $3M or more
- OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to interpret and implement drawings, specifications, submittals, manuals, and installation instructions
- Knowledgeable about construction techniques, equipment, safety protocols, and field coordination
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with Procore is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with an EOS-operated company is a plus
- Hourly rate of $38 to $45
