As Manager of Surveying and Engineering, you'll provide senior-level ownership for a combined surveying/civil engineering team-aligning standards, improving field-to-office coordination, and driving consistent quality and compliance across projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set department workflows, documentation, and operational controls; diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Lead team performance, communication, and stakeholder relationships with a strong safety and ethics focus
- Support project execution, customer service, and department financial/operational targets
- Partner with Brooks leaders on strategy, collaboration, professional development, and engineering customer-base growth
Required qualifications/skills:
- Active Professional Surveyor license, Professional Engineer (civil) license, or both
- 10+ years in surveying or site/civil engineering; local land development codes/regulations knowledge
- Software/equipment fluency (e.g., AutoCAD, Trimble Earthworks/Siteworks, GPS/UTS, machine control)
- Strong organization, analytical rigor, and communication; valid driver's license and jobsite travel
