Our client is a well-established Midwest general contractor with more than a century of experience delivering projects throughout Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. This company serves the commercial, healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, and mixed-use markets, combining strong preconstruction capabilities with experienced field leadership and a commitment to safety, quality, and client service.

The Superintendent will provide daily jobsite leadership and take ownership of field execution from mobilization through closeout. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and self-perform crews while maintaining the schedule, enforcing safety and quality standards, resolving field issues, and communicating progress to the project team.

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• 5+ years of construction field supervision experience
• Experience leading subcontractors, field personnel, suppliers, and vendors
• Experience managing self-perform concrete, carpentry, or masonry operations
• Ground-up commercial construction and renovation experience
• Proficiency reading and interpreting plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents
• Proficiency developing, updating, and managing construction schedules
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, site logistics, cost management, quality control, and project closeout
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
• Proficiency coordinating inspections, deliveries, manpower, equipment, and daily field activities
• Proficiency documenting daily progress, field conditions, safety activities, and schedule updates
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and construction management software
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and short-term deadlines
• Ability to travel to assigned project locations
