The Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator to support a major data center construction project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This opportunity is ideal for a construction safety professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and teamwork drive project success.

You'll partner with project leadership and field teams to ensure OSHA compliance, enforce client safety requirements, conduct inspections, and promote a proactive safety culture on one of the region's most significant mission-critical construction projects.

Compensation

• $40.00-$45.00 per hour
• $120/day Per Diem

What You'll Do

• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, and company safety policies.
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
• Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and assist with pre-task planning.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety observations while recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor PPE compliance, fall protection, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety practices.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, inspections, and regulatory records.
• Partner with project management to identify risks before they become incidents.
• Promote employee engagement and continuous improvement through positive safety leadership.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of construction safety experience.
• Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with field personnel and subcontractors.

Required Certifications

• OSHA 510
• STS-C
• CPR Certification
• NFPA 70E Certification

Location & Schedule

This position is based onsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supporting a major data center construction project. Full-time schedule with overtime opportunities available based on project demands. Candidates should be comfortable working in active commercial construction environments and adhering to strict safety standards.
