Product Photography Assistant - Part time

Photography Assistant

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio gear, is looking for a part-time Photography Assistant to join our Product Photography team. This position requires a knowledge of DSLR cameras. Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus but not required. A typical shift will be Monday
- Friday and include staging products to be showcased on Sweetwater's website. Our ideal candidate has an understanding of music products and interested in learning more about the product photography field.

Schedule:

Monday
- Friday 2:30pm - 6:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for unpacking products that come in.
• Responsible for staging products/assemble items as they are practically used.
• Assisting during the product shoot by holding reflectors and supporting our photographers.
• Repacking items as cleanly as possible to give the customer a never packed experience when opening the product

Job Qualifications:

• Prior experience with lighting equipment/drum equipment
• Knowledge and understanding of DSLR cameras
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Being a team player with a positive attitude
• Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision
• A sharp mind with problem solving capabilities
• A love for music and the product Sweetwater sells is a bonus
• Physical stamina for constant kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting required for long periods of time while shooting
• Interested candidates must submit a resume and portfolio of completed work with the application.

Qualifications:

• Any experience with commercial or product photography is a big plus, ESPECIALLY with musical equipment.
