Job Details

Title: Customer Service Specialist

Location: 7310 Innovation Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46818

Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm)

Compensation: $16.50 per hour

About the Role

Responsible for responding to and/or managing inquiries, complaints, and feedback from customer accounts. Provide support through in person, phone, email, or social media. Communicate effectively, understand customer needs, and provide solutions promptly. Collect and record customer data and maintain accurate records of interactions. Problem‑solving skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work under pressure are required. Focus on building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and providing quality service that meets or exceeds expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Trace shipments for booking agents and customers
  • Investigate and resolve service issues by working with planners, drivers, and distribution centers
  • Register shipments for online agents
  • Provide system updates as needed
  • Respond to general inquiries (missing pieces, account watch info, claims)
  • Provide dates for truckload shipments and specialty fleets
  • Add and approve valuations within defined limits
  • Document all actions on the V601 system
