Connolly's Do it Best – Southgate, a Nation’s Best Holdings, LLC company, is seeking a cashier to join our Fort Wayne, IN location.

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, greeting and thanking them, and assisting with their needs
• Answer phone calls in a polite and timely manner, addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance
• Assist customers in locating products, offering recommendations, and providing personalized information
• Upsell and promote items to increase overall sales and enhance the customer experience
• Highlight Do It Best reward program to customers, encouraging their participation to foster customer loyalty
• Follow company standards and procedures to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations
• Process checkouts accurately and efficiently, adhering to proper cash handling procedures
• Continuously seek product and project knowledge to better assist customers and identify unique selling opportunities
• Resolve customer issues with the support and guidance of management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Proficiency in using computers and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Results‑oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
• Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to consistently provide superior customer service
• Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds and perform tasks such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the work shift
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business
