As a Registered Dental Hygienist with Simba Dental, you will be responsible for delivering a Distinctive Patient Experience to our growing patient base. We are seeking an individual who has a commitment to excellence in their actions, words, and intentions. This person should strive to be the best version of themselves while continuously growing and innovating to better serve our patients.

Essential responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure patient comfort before their examination.
• Conduct initial mouth exams and screenings.
• Check patients’ medical and dental histories.
• Identify gingivitis, periodontitis, and dental caries.
• Clean patients’ teeth (regular prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, coronal polishing).
• Help protect patients’ teeth (apply fluoride or varnish as needed).
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (e.g., demonstrating good brushing techniques).
• Provide instructions to patients following procedures.
• Take imaging X-rays as needed, and intraoral scans.
• Assist dentists in identifying oral lesions that may require biopsy.
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.
• Schedule patients’ next recall visits.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree or equivalent in Dental Hygiene.
• At least three years of clinical experience, required.
• Local Anesthesia License in Indiana, required.
• Dental Hygiene License in Indiana, required.
