About the PositionLocum Jobs Online is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Plymouth, Indiana, 46563! We are seeking a board-certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins Mar 2, 2026, with day shifts Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The assignment focuses on both hematology and oncology cases, with participation in a tumor board and management of bone marrow transplant procedures.

Hematology/Oncology Physician - Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Perform bone marrow biopsies
- Participate on a tumor board
- Oversee bone marrow transplant management
- Order and interpret laboratory tests
- Utilize blood bank services as appropriate
- Order diagnostic imaging
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Administer chemotherapy in collaboration with nursing staff
- Board Certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required (AMBS/AOA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 50% hematology and 50% oncology case mix
- Locum tenens assignment
