Manchester University invites applications for a full-time, 12‑month, non‑tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice (Ambulatory Care). This co‑funded faculty position focuses on teaching, clinical service, and scholarship, with an emphasis on integrating clinical practice into all areas of instruction. The successful candidate will provide clinical services in an outpatient setting near Fort Wayne, Indiana, while contributing to the education and development of future pharmacists.

Teaching (60%)

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in didactic and/or clinical courses.
• Serve as course coordinator and instructor as assigned.
• Develop evidence‑based learning experiences and innovative teaching methods to prepare students for contemporary pharmacy practice.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues to refine curriculum, teaching, and assessment methods.
• Develop and teach elective courses as appropriate.
• Serve as a professional role model for students and colleagues.
• Assess student learning outcomes and implement improvements for continuous quality enhancement.

Scholarship (10%)

• Engage in scholarly activities appropriate to pharmacy practice, including research, application, and teaching‑related scholarship.
• Disseminate scholarly work through publications, presentations, and other venues.
• Mentor and collaborate with student and faculty researchers.

Service & Clinical Practice (30%)

• Serve as a faculty and student mentor and participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Contribute to a culture of student success and professional excellence.
• Participate in professional organizations and community engagement.
• Provide clinical services in collaboration with the Department Chair, maintaining clinical competence and licensure.
• Participate in faculty governance and academic advising.

• Pharm.
  
  D. or equivalent professional degree.
• Active pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensure in Indiana).
• Credentials appropriate for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (rank commensurate with experience).
• Demonstrated understanding of current pharmacy practice.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to interdisciplinary education and student success.
• Evidence of scholarly engagement preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
