Math Teacher

Overview

To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational development and maturity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a learning environment that challenges students at all ability levels and encourages inquiry, collaboration and creativity. The teacher will be required to integrate technology into classroom activities; differentiate instruction; effectively utilize formative and summative assessments;

use data to inform instruction, etc.

• Certified teacher in the state of Indiana.
• Degree required in area of specialty.
• Math endorsement is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the use of computer assisted instruction desirable.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
