Love reading? Want a summer job that actually makes a difference? Join the Allen County Public Library as a Team Read Teen Reader this June and July!
This daytime, Monday–Friday summer job lets you work with elementary-age kids, helping them build reading skills through books and fun activities. You ll be part of a supportive team, meet new people, and give back to your community — all while earning $10.25 per hour

- Read with kids and help them grow their literacy skills
- Play and lead fun activities
- Be a positive role model and cheer on young readers
- Work with library staff in a welcoming, inclusive environment
- Are 16-19 years old
- Can read confidently in English
- Enjoy working with kids
- Are friendly, patient, and enthusiastic
- Want a meaningful summer job (no weekends!)
