Applicant Location Requirements3–5 years of experience working with students with learning differences, disabilities, or special educational needs Experience developing and implementing individualized learning plans and accommodations Strong collaboration skills when working with teachers, administrators, and families Experience supporting students across academic, behavioral, and executive-functioning needs
Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field required Teaching license in Special Education preferred.
Knowledge of evidence-based instructional and intervention strategies Commitment to ongoing professional growth in special education practices
Skills
Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and learning accommodations Ability to support students with a variety of learning needs and challenges Excellent organization and documentation skills Clear, compassionate communication with students, families, and staff Collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered approach Ability to integrate faith and character into student support in age-appropriate ways
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field 3–5 years of relevant teaching or student-support experience preferred Knowledge of instructional strategies, accommodations, and progress monitoring Strong collaboration and communication skills Alignment with the school’s mission, values, and faith commitments
