Purpose
Help students learn to understand and utilize the English language as they develop academic skills as required by State Standards.
Qualifications- ESL Certified teacher in the state of Indiana as regulated by the State Certification Department is preferred.
- Endorsement in Language Arts desirable.
- Without ESL Certification, experience in teaching ESL highly recommended.
- Must meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in Indiana.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
