Internal Applicants: Only current Building Instructional Coaches or candidates who have went through the BIC Professional Learning Community and have been approved for the talent pool may apply.
External Applicants: External candidates will be considered for this position if they have similar prior experience and certifications and agree to participate in required professional learning sessions prior to the start of the school year and during the school year.
All ApplicantsMust possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options:
- Any valid Indiana Teaching license with content endorsement(s) covering grades 6-8
Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles theories procedures and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction. Student performance data in the teacher's classroom must show a positive trend of growth on the Indiana College and Career Standards. Demonstrated leadership on their Quality Improvement Team (QIT) and at the school in developing school-based curriculum (SCIPs Assessments of and for Learning and Instructional Design).
Have skillfully facilitated teams through curriculum processes or problem solving effectively.
