- Year Round Schedule
PURPOSE
Serves as an educational leader who guides instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards and ensure that all students meet Indiana’s Academic and are aligned with federal, state, and district standards, requirements, laws, and regulations.
Important Details- Work Schedule: Year Around (260 days)
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday minimum 8 hours daily. May Vary due to exempt status.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Possess a valid Indiana teaching license and administrator license for the grade levels assigned.
- Have documented knowledge of district used data software and the ability to analyze and synthesize data.
- Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction in order to guide instruction in the building.
- FWCS Principals meet all definitions and guidelines for effective administrators as detailed on the RISE Principal Effectiveness Rubric from the IDOE.
- FWCS Principals promote the success of every student by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision for teaching and learning that is shared and supported by the school community.
