Purpose:
Plan, organize, control and direct educational operations activities and services at an assigned elementary school, including curriculum and instructional programs, processes and procedures; coordinate and direct personnel, communications, discipline functions, welfare and guidance services, testing and evaluation, fiscal functions and information to enhance student learning and achievement, and assure smooth and efficient school activities. Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
Starting 2026 - 2027 School Year.

Work Hours:
Monday – Friday, minimum 8 hours daily, as determined by supervisor. Hours will vary based on district needs and exempt status.
- Bachelor's degree and graduate courses needed to meet educational licensing requirements.
- Five years of teaching experience, including one year in an administrative capacity.
- Strong planning, administrative, supervisory, analytical, computer, organizational, accountability, and oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the comprehensive organization operations, policies and objectives of the assigned school.
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum standards and requirements, and the specialized aspects, methods, processes, principles, practices, procedures and terminology related to elementary school curricular models.
- Valid Administrative Services Credential and Indiana driver’s license.
- Plan, organize, control, and direct educational operations activities and services at an assigned elementary school, including curriculum and instructional programs, processes and procedures; establish and maintain school timelines and priorities; ensure compliance with established standards, requirements, laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and direct personnel, communications, discipline functions, welfare and guidance services, testing and evaluation, fiscal functions and information to enhance student learning and achievement and assure smooth and efficient school activities; provide educational leadership and oversee the development and implementation of school programs, services, schedules, goals, objectives, plans, strategies, standards, projects, processes and procedures.
- Provide instructional leadership for the school; ensure proper implementation of District curricular models; plan, organize, control and direct educational functions, including instructional material guidelines, requirements, curriculum and instructional strategies; direct and participate in the development and implementation of curriculum standards; monitor instructional activities to assure alignment with curriculum requirements; oversee and participate in the review, analysis and adjustment of instructional activities in response to student achievement data.
- Maintain current knowledge of educational methods, practices and standards related to school operations and related laws, codes, regulations, policies and procedures; modify programs and services to assure compliance with standards and requirements as needed; supervise and provide professional development activities to assure compliance with District curricular models.
- Analyze and review budgetary and financial data for the school; authorize expenditures in accordance with established standards and regulations.
- Plan, organize, control and direct student discipline functions at the assigned school site; administer, supervise and authorize student supervision, expulsions and manifestation determinations; direct and participate in the review, analysis and implementation of student management plans in response to student discipline data; assist faculty and staff with interpreting student discipline data and developing and implementing classroom management strategies.
