Queen of Angels Catholic School is hiring a Middle School Math Teacher who will directly report to the School Principal. This position may be full‑time, with the additional responsibility of teaching Middle School Science or K‑8 Computer Science as required, and is expected to begin at the start of the 2026‑2027 school year.

• Provide instruction in Mathematics for grades sixth through eighth, including pre‑Algebra, Algebra, or Geometry as appropriate for students’ ability levels.
• Teach Middle School Science or K‑8 Computer Science if the full‑time contract requires it.
• Follow the Diocesan Pacing Guide and Frameworks for Middle School Mathematics.
• Utilize a planbook system to detail subject matter instruction for each classroom.
• Open each class with a prayer and attend Mass with the school four days a week.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and service on committees as needed.
• Collaborate with general‑education classroom teachers and “Specials” teachers to integrate cross‑curricular lessons.
• Communicate with parents regarding diocesan‑wide or school events involving student travel or study trips.
• Assign tasks to paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom.
• Build a math program that fosters academic excellence and integrates faith connections into instruction.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of mathematical processes and standards to ensure continual student growth.

• Demonstrated ability to teach mathematics to students in grades 6 through 8 (or equivalent).
• Possession of or willingness to pursue an Indiana teaching license in Secondary Mathematics.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Google applications, specifically Google Classroom.
• Willingness to dress in appropriate professional teaching attire.

If the position is full time, the candidate will be eligible for benefits provided by the Diocese of Ft. Wayne – South Bend. Salary will be determined by the Diocesan Teacher Pay Scale.
