Job Description

Position for the  School Year. Pay may be prorated based on approved hire date.

Location:

Kekionga Middle School, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

• Candidate must comply with IHSAA, MSAC rules/regulations and all FWCS policies including FWCS code of ethics.
• Prefer candidate with high school coaching experience.
• Must be willing and able to work effectively with students from multicultural backgrounds.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to developing positive working relations with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Responsible to instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games.
• Maintain high expectations for students both academically and athletically.
• Utilize, organize, and work with other head coaches and assistants.
• Must have or be willing to obtain SPB/Minibus certification before season.

Prefer candidate who will be teaching at Kekionga Middle School for the  school year. If applicant is a current FWCS teacher, the teacher must fulfill their daily contracted hours before coaching. If not a FWCS teacher, candidate must be available at 3:30 PM Monday through Friday afternoons. Valid Driver's License required.

• Strength and Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to fifty (50) pounds or more.
• Outdoor Work: Tolerance of work outside in various weather conditions.
