Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment, development, evaluation, and ongoing support of experiential education sites and preceptors for PharmD programs, including on-campus and distance pathways.
  • Coordinate and oversee IPPE and APPE experiential placements, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and meaningful learning experiences for student pharmacists.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with faculty, preceptors, academic leadership, and students to support experiential education excellence.
  • Conduct site visits (virtual and in-person) and address student or preceptor concerns related to professionalism, performance, and learning outcomes.
  • Utilize experiential education systems and technology to manage placements, assessments, documentation, and communication.
  • Teach and coordinate assigned Pharmacy Practice courses, using evidence-based and innovative instructional approaches.
  • Participate in faculty service, mentorship, professional engagement, and scholarly activity as appropriate to the role.
Qualifications

  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and ability to travel within Indiana and nationally as needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with standard office technology and software (e.g., MS Office, email, learning technologies).
