Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans for students with special needs. Earn up to $53 per hour based on experience.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a conducive learning environment

• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and state regulations

• Provide a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere to foster student success

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in special education

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Valid teaching certificate for special education

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Successful completion of a background check

• Ability to work during standard school days and adhere to a standard ES schedule
