Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to guide a classroom of children ages 1–2 years. The ideal candidate will create a warm, stimulating environment that supports social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
  • Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
  • Supervise and ensure the well-being of all children at all times
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Conduct observations and track developmental progress
  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing standards
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field preferred)
  • Minimum [1–3] years of experience working with toddlers
  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with play-based or emergent curriculum
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
