We are seeking Adjunct Faculty for our traditional Day Communication program to teach undergraduate courses in Communication such as journalism, broadcasting, and graphic design.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Teach courses as defined by course and learning objectives established through the college, in line with the teaching letter of agreement. Adjuncts can teach a minimum of one class per academic year and up to four classes per semester.
- Preferred: a master’s degree in Communication or a closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, public relations, broadcasting, or graphic design).
- Minimum: a bachelor’s degree in Communication or a closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, graphic design) and 10+ years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to adjust to changing needs and processes while anticipating challenges, identifying problems, and developing solutions.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Student‑centered teaching approaches.
- Professional experience in the Communication field preferred.
Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment.
