Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for teaching courses in chemistry offered in the day school on the Fort Wayne Campus, specifically General Chemistry I or II lecture or laboratory or Introductory Chemistry.

• Teach as needed in traditional day programs.
• Fulfill teaching requirements as outlined in course objectives and Indiana Tech policy & procedures.

• Minimum of master’s degree; doctorate preferred in appropriate discipline.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous teaching experience at the college level preferred.
• Strong technological aptitude to manage course materials and grade calculation; knowledge of Canvas, Microsoft Office, and web-based teaching tools preferred.

• Experience in qualitative or quantitative research and use of the scientific method in the relevant field.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Student-centered teaching approaches.

Work is normally performed in a typical classroom environment.
