Work Model:
Onsite - Two of the five days 20%-30% will be traveling to job sites for the FW District. Will submit expenses for fuel and vehicle rental. No overnight travel. Monday
- Friday (40hrs a week).
POSITION OVERVIEW
In support of the I&M strategic mission toward the client Perfect Power Initiative and under minimal supervision, this role performs work activities requiring technical knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. Perfect Power is centered on improving the customer experience by reducing frequent power interruptions and delivering a more reliable service. While traditional reliability efforts have focused on sustained outages, Perfect Power expands that view to include shorter-duration events—such as momentaries, blinks, and voltage sags—that can still impact customers significantly.
By identifying and addressing these brief but frequent disruptions, Perfect Power enables a more comprehensive approach to reliability, helping ensure customers receive consistent, high-quality power.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Essential Job Functions- Coordinate work activities within the team and with external partners, including contractors and vendors, to resolve routine technical issues and support field activities.
- Perform a variety of assignments requiring technical knowledge, analytical skills, and problem-solving techniques.
- Participate in the planning and organization of outage-related activities and project work.
- Make sound decisions and contribute to team decision-making and consensus building.
- Collaborate effectively with others by providing information and seeking assistance when needed.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to lower-level employees, as appropriate.
- Identify and support effective ways to protect and enhance the environment while providing reliable electricity at a competitive cost.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Listen to and identify the needs and expectations of internal and external customers.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, management, customers, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of client's general terms and conditions, with the ability to accurately interpret and administer contracts.
- Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and develop effective solutions.
- Demonstrate a strong customer-service mindset and a commitment to meeting the needs of internal and external customers who rely on the team's work.

WHAT'S NEEDED
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university or college or an associate's technical degree and 3 years of experience in design, operations, planning, construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
Work Experience:
Typically requires a minimum of three years of experience in work activities and projects requiring technical knowledge.
