Engineering Co-op; Summer

Overview

Regal Rexnord in Fort Wayne, IN has a rotational cooperative education program (co-op) with positions working in our Sound and Vibrations Lab, Metallurgical Lab, Reliability Lab, New Product Development team, and Application Engineering team. In the co-op program, you will have the opportunity to work in any of these rotations while you complete school in parallel.

• Sound and Vibrations Lab: work side-by-side with our Analytical Chief of Sound and Vibration, handling customer returns/complaints, cost-out projects, and new product development testing using the anechoic chamber and analytical software.
• Reliability Lab: work side-by-side with our Reliability and Failure Analysis technicians, troubleshooting customer returns with multimeters and oscilloscopes while reading schematics to determine a root cause of failure.
• New Product Development: work with Project Leads and Design Engineers, completing tests on new designs and working on improvements, as well as addressing quality concerns and cost-out projects.
• Application Engineering: work with application engineers to answer customer questions, qualify products with customers, and develop material shared with key prospects to grow the business.

The co-op program runs 3 different semesters per year:
Spring, Summer, and Fall. Regal Rexnord will work with students to find a schedule that aligns with their university hours, but full-time work (40 hrs/week) is preferred.
