We’re seeking a Structural Engineer to support commercial building projects with a focus on practical, code-aligned structural solutions. This role works on floor and roof framing systems while partnering closely with design and construction teams to deliver clear, build-ready engineering documents. It’s a great fit for someone who values precision, collaboration, and strong structural fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities- Design and support commercial structural systems including floor and roof framing layouts.
- Develop structural calculations and design packages for steel framing, joists, and related components.
- Produce and revise engineering drawings and details using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support project execution and resolve design questions.
- Participate in design reviews and support document updates through project completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required.
- EIT certification required, PE license is a plus.
- Experience with commercial building structural design.
- Strong understanding of steel framing and joist-based systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and technical drawing production.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience preferred.
