The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, documentation, and implementation of electrical systems and control solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical schematics, control panel design, and standards‑compliant documentation. The Electrical Engineer must be capable of working independently, producing audit‑ready electrical packages, and supporting projects from concept through execution while ensuring compliance with applicable CE and IEC standards.
EssentialFunctions
- Create single line diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics for industrial and automation systems
- Design electrical control panels, including component selection, layout, cable routing, and wiring diagrams
- Evaluate the performance, safety, and reliability of electrical equipment through testing and quality inspection
- Prepare complete electrical documentation packages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) in accordance with CE requirements and applicable standards
- Maintain electronic documentation repositories, including drawings, templates, symbols, and project files
- Apply standard drafting practices and ensure documentation complies with internal and external standards
- Utilize EPLAN or similar electrical design tools (e.g., Solid Works Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical) to generate schematics and layouts
- Interface with internal teams, customers, and vendors to clarify requirements and support project execution
- Review designs for compliance with CE/IEC standards and incorporate regulatory requirements into documentation
- Respond to feedback from manufacturing, vendors, or auditors to improve design quality and documentation accuracy
- Generate electrical drawings and documentation independently, making sound engineering decisions with minimal supervision
- Support troubleshooting and design updates during manufacturing, testing, or commissioning phases

This position is based in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud‑based filing systems, and collaboration tools.
Physical DemandsThis role requires physical capabilities that support the successful execution of key responsibilities. The employee regularly engages in verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients to address project‑related inquiries and must be able to convey accurate information clearly and efficiently.
