Job Description
Seeking a Water/Wastewater Professional Engineer for the Fort Wayne Office. This role involves tackling complex municipal water and wastewater treatment process design projects, including evaluations, report preparations, contract document development, and construction engineering support.
Responsibilities- Design and evaluate municipal water/wastewater treatment processes.
- Prepare design reports and develop contract documents.
- Provide bidding assistance and support construction engineering services.
- Engage in rehabilitation and new construction projects for water and wastewater systems.
- Work on stormwater and transportation engineering projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline;
Master's or Ph.D. is a plus. - Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana or Kentucky, or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- Experience in water/wastewater engineering treatment process and plant design.
- Hydraulic engineering experience with pump stations, collection systems, and distribution systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with civil consulting firms.
- Proficiency in treatment plant modeling software such as GPS-X and Visual Hydraulics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Capability to mentor junior team members.
