Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible in assisting in pre-plan and managing construction projects utilizing company resources.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Reporting to a Project Manager

* Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs

* Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and project proposals

* Work with Labor Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out

* Communicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedule and scope

* Promote and enforce a safe working environment

* Satisfy customers' needs to develop repeat business

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years' electrical field experience preferred

* Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders

* Ability to order, track and expedite for timely delivery of MEP and specialty items required for the project

* Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
