Our client, a leader in the utilities industry
, is looking to hire an Engineer to join their team.
This will be fully onsite in Fort Wayne, IN.
* This job is a 1-year W2 contract role with benefits!*
As an Engineer
, you will support general engineering activities for capital projects at oil and natural gas facilities
. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior engineering staff, collaborate with junior engineers, and to receive additional training/ professional development!
- Develop and maintain structural systems and controls according to engineering specifications, procedures, and directives
- Participate in pre-production meetings and materials testing research for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, pressure vessels
- Design materials, structures, and systems following practicality, regulation, safety, and cost restrictions
- Conduct feasibly studies to gather staffing and material resource requirements,
setting standards for operating and development activities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, MS Project, Procore, CAD software, digital blueprinting tools or similar software
- Prior experience or interest in utilities, oil, gas, or resource management industries highly valued!
