Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leader in gas & electric utilities is hiring an Engineer to join their team in Fort Wayne, IN
!

** This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits**

As the Engineer
, you will provide general engineering support for capital projects supporting oil and natural gas facilities while working under the direction of senior engineering staff.

• Develop and maintain structural systems, controls, engineering specifications, procedures, and directives
• Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, and pressure vessels
• Support materials testing programs and research & development initiatives
• Design materials, structures, and systems while considering safety, regulatory, cost, and practical constraint
• Conduct feasibility studies
  , evaluate resource requirements (personnel and materials), and establish operating standards
• Deliver general engineering support for capital projects within oil and natural gas operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of PHMSA regulations
• 1–4 years of relevant engineering experience
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Effective communication and documentation skills
