Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

Duration

12 Months Contract with possible extension

• Works under the direction of more senior engineering staff.
• Provide day-to-day support in the area of engineering for all projects
• Develop and maintain structural, systems and controls and or other engineering specifications, procedures and directives
• Participate in pre-production meetings for pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, and pressure vessels
• Participate in materials testing programs and research and development.
• May work with other junior Engineers on a common project that is a routine, recurring nature.
• Continue to receive training and development on the job.
• May provide technical guidance to technicians and support to other professionals.
• Design materials, structures, and systems while considering the limitations imposed by practicality, regulation, safety, and cost.
• Conduct feasibility studies, resource requirements both people and materials and setting standards for both operating and development activities.
• Responsible for general engineering support for capital projects for oil and natural gas facilities.
• Accountable for providing general engineering support as directed by Engineering Staff.

Experience:

0 to 4 years

Mechanical/Civil Engineer - PHMSA. ABET Accredited Mechanical or Civil Engineering Degree.
