Maintenance Engineer

Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability, safety, and uptime in a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related technical field
• 5+ years of maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
• Experience developing and optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms and maintenance work order management
• Data-driven maintenance planning experience using failure history and performance metrics
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing with focus on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean flow
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with project management software

• Experience leading plant shutdowns/outages and coordinating cross-functional maintenance activities
• Experience creating detailed job plans including safety protocols, instructions, and labor estimates
• Root cause analysis experience for equipment failures and recurring issues
• Background supporting spare parts planning and maintenance documentation control

• Develop, maintain, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment and systems
• Plan and coordinate maintenance work orders, ensuring labor, tools, spare parts, and documentation are available
• Create detailed job plans including safety protocols, technical instructions, photos, and estimated time frames
• Lead planning and execution of plant shutdowns and outages to support timely completion and minimal disruption
• Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and prioritize reliability improvements
• Validate effectiveness of preventive maintenance activities and revise schedules and task content as needed
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures and corrective actions
• Maintain CMMS data accuracy including asset records, PM task lists, job plans, and work history
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned to TPM, lean flow, and equipment uptime goals
