We are hiring a Structural Detailer to join a top-tier organization specializing in structural steel joist and deck building systems supporting projects across North America.
What You’ll Do
- Convert customer drawings into detailed AutoCAD 2D designs
- Create manufacturing and delivery plans for steel joist and deck systems
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate, on-time project delivery
- Manage 5–6 projects simultaneously at various stages of completion
- Utilize and learn a proprietary AutoCAD add-in tool (training provided)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with AutoCAD drafting (construction, architectural, or related field)
- Basic understanding of structural loads and connections
- Ability to review design drawings and connection details
- Familiarity with design approval processes and working with clients or fabrication teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to structural steel, joist, or decking design
- Leadership, training, or internship experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
