The Engineering Project Manager provides management of the technical and operational support to assigned customers and/ or department(s) and processes through the development, refinement, correction of manufacturing processes; and procurement and validation of acquired or fabricated equipment.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, required.
• Master’s in Engineering or related field, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Design, drive, and execute projects, both external and internal, to completion.
• Engage in customer communications providing a front line technical resource for customer issues, trials, experiments, and other product development tasks
• Interface with customers to understand their various business needs and develop products and processes to satisfy needs.
• Lead the innovation and validation of new processes, the improvement of current processes, and the development of inspection protocol for manufacturing processes within the assigned areas.
• Responsible for the acquisition, evaluation and validation of fabricated or purchased equipment. Track validation data. Create comparison reports and perform statistical analysis of equipment functions and of material produced on such equipment, as necessary. Present results to applicable staff, as requested.
• Monitor the creation of work instructions for new processes, materials, and equipment and ensure that proper training is received by operators.
• Research and develop new technologies, materials, and processes for use in FWM manufacturing applications.
• Coordinate in capital expenditure resource planning processes, and the project planning processes.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Proven ability, capacity, and aptitude with planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating technical work, and obtaining cooperation from others (must be able to build rapport with project staff)

• Office environment in a fast paced production facility.
• Some travel to other facilities necessary.
• Sitting and working at desk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to access all areas of operation, including second floors.
• Occasional lifting approximately 30 pounds.
• Pulling, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.
