We are seeking a high-caliber Program Manager to join our team. As a premier Tier 1 automotive supplier specializing in large-scale plastic components, we don’t just manufacture parts; we manage complexity.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our major OEM customers, owning the product lifecycle from initial award through successful launch and into production. If you have a passion for "cradle-to-grave" project ownership and a deep understanding of the automotive "Gate" process, we want to hear from you.
The Mission- Customer Liaison: Act as the face of the company, managing relationships with major global OEMs and ensuring their technical and timing requirements are met.
- Timeline Mastery: Create and maintain detailed program schedules, ensuring every milestone—from tooling kicks to PPAP is achieved on time.
- Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and profitability, ensuring we deliver value without compromising quality.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead internal "War Room" meetings, coordinating between Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Production to knock down roadblocks.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential delays in the launch cycle and implement recovery plans before they impact the customer.
- Automotive Pedigree: Proven experience managing programs within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive environment.
- Plastics Knowledge: A strong technical grasp of injection molding
, blow molding, or extrusion. - Aesthetic
Experience:
Familiarity with the unique challenges of painted plastic components and Class-A surface requirements. - OEM Systems Fluency: Experience navigating major manufacturer portals and quality standards (e.g.,
Ford FSP/GPDS
, GM, or Stellantis systems). - Process Discipline: Deep knowledge of APQP, Stage-Gate processes, and change management.
You’ll be managing high-visibility programs that involve complex, high-tonnage tooling and sophisticated finishing processes. This isn't a "sit behind a desk" job; it’s a role for someone who loves the energy of the plant floor and the strategy of the boardroom.
