Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities include:

Planning, coordinating, administering, and supervising the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function for the organization. Work with staff to plan and design methods to maintain, improve or enhance existing manufacturing processes. Responsible for development and validation of new production processes as well as the upgrade of existing production processes and ensures effective transition to production standard practices. Work with other manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure all new products are producible.

Assist in analyzing and reviewing manufacturing budgets, schedules, and production requirements to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources. Develop and recommend revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production standard operating procedures.

Education and Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology. Certification/Certificate in lean Manufacturing 10+ years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering 5+ years of new product development (NPD) in a team environment 5+ years applying SIX Sigma (DMAIC) tools 5+ years applying Lean Manufacturing principles in a manufacturing environment 4+ years managing/supervising direct reports
