Our Fort Wayne headquarters is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a casual work environment and make a real impact on the design of advanced manufacturing, higher education, healthcare, and civic structures in Indiana and throughout the United States. Working in our collaborative environment with architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and interiors staff supports project success and broadened individual professional development.
Responsibilitiesand Requirements
- You must have a Structural Engineering License (PE or SE) and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD is important, and structural design software such as RAM is preferred.
- Typical responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, preparing structural design calculations, existing structure analysis, report writing, producing construction documents, writing specifications, and performing construction administration.
- Proficiency in structural steel and concrete foundation design is a must.
- Additionally, design skills utilizing steel joists, metal deck, concrete masonry, and wood are regularly required.
- Familiarity with the International Building Code, ASCE 7, and material codes is essential.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are a must.
- The ideal candidate can interact with the design team to determine design criteria and restraints.

- Occasionally site trips are expected to evaluate construction in progress or collect field information for structural analysis.
