Position:
Electronic Warfare Engineer (Fort Wayne, IN)
- System Development:
Understand the customer’s functional/operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition, overseeing proper allocation of technical elements. - System Integration & Test:
Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and acceptance of production hardware. - Provide engineering support to lab test and qualification activities, overseeing the test, evaluation, and analysis of issues related to system hardware and firmware functionality and performance.
- Support customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, integration and transition to production.
- Evaluate and assess the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems.
- Balance multiple, varying commitments with moderate oversight.
- Support occasional business travel (20% or less).
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Academic or extracurricular experience with radio, communications, or radar systems design, operation, analysis, or simulation.
- Experience communicating and presenting system design details and/or system test results to stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing, developing, and implementing solutions to complex technical problems in conditions of moderate uncertainty.
- Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret clearance).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Exposure to RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing.
- Experience with development, implementation, and testing of RF jamming algorithms.
- Experience using MATLAB, Path Wave ADSP, and/or Path Wave EMPro for simulation and design of RF systems.
- Experience with C/C++ or Python programming languages.
- RF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test experience in the Electronic Attack domain.
- Understanding of embedded systems and embedded programming; experience with FPGA hardware.
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering principles and tools such as Cameo.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
- Competitive salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD.
